Schedule Auto Payment through Wire Transfer in Google Adsense


Google Adsense has upgraded its payment system and we already knew it. For Payment Settings as well it has added new features like payment schedule on a specific date, setting a specific threshold limit, and adding a Wire Transfer payment. And now we are going to understand these new elements one by one in details. And it is boon for Indians, earlier the Bank Wire Transfer was unavailable but it available now. So, lets set a date for auto payment into your Bank Account.

Login to your Adsense Account.

  1. Click on Gear icon in top right side corner.
  2. Choose the Payments option from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Payment Settings tab in left side tabs.

Then you can see the Payment Setting screen and it will allow us to perform the following actions towards our payment settings.

Increase threshold and Payment Schedule

By default Google Adsense makes payment on 21th day of the month when the accumulated earning reaches $100 upto the last day of the preceding month. We can increase the threshold limit more than $100 but can't decrease less than that. This is the minimum threshold for payment of our earnings in Adsense Account.

Just click on the Configure link beside the Payment Schedule, then you can find the Configure self-hold screen. There you can provide your threshold limit in the provided box give the digits for your payment threshold and set a date of payment for auto payment on a specific date. The scheduled date should be with one year. Your schedule payment date will be considered upto 20th of every month.

Add Bank details for Wire Transfer (EFT)

Now onward the Google Adsense allows to add a new form of payment where our payments directly deposited into our Bank Account through Wire Transfer or Electronic Fund Transfer. Adsense will not change but Banks will charge and before add this payment form contact your Bank regarding this and obtain the IFSC, Swift code of your Bank Branch if the Wire Transfer is available for your Branch.

Just click on the add new form of payment button in the screen then you will see the Form to

provide your Bank details like Account Number, Holder Name, Branch details along with the Swift and IFSC codes of your Bank Branch. If you still want your payment through Cheque form just uncheck the make this form of payment as primary check box at the end of the form. Now a new form of payment Wire Transfer to bank account ...0000 will be displayed under available forms of payment.It will take about 4-10 business days to be credited into your Bank Account after the Adsense released the payment on 21st of the month.

And this is really a fantastic change in the Payment Setting, and good news for Indians to have our payment through wire transfer and payment scheduling. Thanks to Google for this effort.

Google Adsense Payee Profile Screen Introduction


The new Google Adsense Payment System has upgraded its Payee Profile screen as well, which has new elements like Billing Information and Billing Contacts in the screen itself apart the Address of the Adsense Publisher. And in the earlier article we read about Google Adsense Payment History screen, there we learned about the Transactions Filtering, Reports Printing as exporting data in our computer. And now you are going to understand a little more about the Payee Profile screen of your Google Adsense Account.

Introduction to Adsense Payee Profile screen
Payee Profile screen looks like this in your Google Adsense Account.

After you have logged into your Google Adsense Account

  1. Just click on the Gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. And choose the Payments menu from the dropdown menu.
  3. Then you will see the Payments History which is know has Transactions History screen, about which we learned earlier.
  4. From the left side Tabs select Payee Profile tab to navigate to your Payee Profile screen.

The Payee Profile section has been divided into three elements.

General Element in Payee Profile

This is the first element in the screen, and it shows our Billing ID and Billing Communication Language, we can't change the Billing ID but we can change the Billing Communication Language. If you click the Edit link below the Payee profile heading at the top this option will be enabled for modification.

Tax details

This represents either the Adsense Publisher an Individual or a Company, it will be assigned when we were applied for the Adsense Account. We can't change it no where.

Publisher Address

This element contains the contact address of the Publisher, When any kind of official letter need to be send to the publisher then they will be sent to this particular address. If you set your payment type as Cheque then your cheque will sent to this address. We can change our address for communication by clicking on the Edit link.

Billing Contacts

The billing contacts elements contains the email id and phone number of the publisher by default. Even you can add more contacts for letting them to know about particular notifications about your Adsense Account. Click on Edit link in the right side of the contact to change the details of the contact or click on Add new contact to add a new contact. Adsense will send notification to this email id about changes done to the Threshold limit, Schedule Payment, and Address.

And this is all about Adsense Payee Profile scree and we thank the Adsense team for their effort for making these change, which is helpful. In particular the Bill Contact element will helps us to know the changes done in our Adsense Account.

Google Adsense New Payments History screen 2014


Google Adsense at the beginning of 2014 has migrated to the new online payment system, which you are watching in your Adsense Publisher Account Payments screen. When you see your transaction history there you can find all your balances prior to April 15 as Service Adjustments, and you can see the history of the Service Adjustments balance i.e. your Previous Payments by using the see your previous payments button available at the bottom of your new payment processing system.

For accessing the Payments History screen just login to your Adsense account. And the Payments link has been removed from Finalized earnings section so,

  1. In your Adsense Home screen click on Gear button in the top right corner of your Adsense Home Page.
  2. In the Dropdown menu select Payments menu.
  3. Then you can see your Payments History screen which is also termed as Transaction History screen.

The screen shows you the information about your Current Adsense Earnings Balance, Payee Name, Type Payment method, your minimum payment threshold and payment scheduled date if you configured.

Below that your earnings statement will be shown in table format. In this new payment system you filter the transactions based on the transaction type like Costs, Earning, Payments, Adjustments, or Taxes. As well exporting and printing the transaction report are added features in this migrated payment system.

And this is how we can filter our adsene earnings reports as well can export and even take the printout from the Adsense Account itself. Thanks to Google Adsense Team for designing this handful payments system.

Configure, Create, Set Cheque Books in Tally ERP 9


Tally, the limited company accounting software has added a feature for maintaining the Cheque Book. Maintaining outstanding checks or cheques is a tedious process for the outstanding debts department of the outsourcing help desk. When we require the status of a particular Cheque Leaf then it is a time consuming process for us to know it in the manual Cheque Book Register. So, keep check book with you, in which accounting software we are going to create Book creation.

How to Set Cheque Books in Tally ERP 9, accounting software for medium sized business
In Tally.ERP 9 we can Create Cheque Books so that we can easily manage cheque books using the cheque book register.

In the accounting management software we can set the Cheque Book either in Ledger Creation screen orLedger Alteration screen. In the Bank Ledger Creation screen

  1. Set YES for Set/Alter Bank Details option and press Enter Key using the Keyboard.
  2. In the Bank Details for screen select your Bank from the List of Banks available.
  3. Make Set Cheque Books option as YES under General Configuration.
  4. In the Cheque Range for screen you can find
    1. From Number, here provide the six digit starting Cheque Leaf number in the Cheque Book.
    2. To Number, here provide the six digit ending Cheque Leaf number in the Cheque Book.
    3. Number of Cheques, will display the number of Cheque Leafs available in that book. Leave it without changing.
    4. Book Name, this is the optional one but you can use this to recognize for what purpose you can use this particular Cheque Book while entering payment voucher to issue a cheque.
  5. Save all the screens and finally, accept the Ledger Creation or Alteration screen.

Now, we have successfully created a cheque book in erp software and in the above video demo we have set a cheque book for the payments to the suppliers in the tally software.

Creating Savings, Business bank account Ledger in Tally ERP 9


Tally, the business and accounting software having its own set of Groups for creating Bank Account related Ledgers. In this accounting management software, we have two set of Groups. After we start savings account we can record them using the Bank Accounts group, where as the Bank Overdraft (checking account) Account can be maintained using the Bank OD A/c group. In tally accounting software you can find another group named Bank OCC A/c, which is the alias for Bank OD A/c group. Even we select that group in this vat accounting software, it will show you the Bank OD A/c.

Bank Ledger Creation in Tally Business Software

We have already learned Ledger Creation in Tally Tutorial, and the Bank Account Ledger creation is to be created in the same process. And here we create overdraft bank Account Ledger. For that

  1. Get the Ledger Creation screen in tally erp software.
  2. Give a name for the bank ledger.
  3. Select Bank OD A/c Group for OCC Bank Account in the List of Groups for Under option. If you want to create ledger either for SB Bank Account or Current Bank Account then select Bank Accounts group.
  4. Effective Date of Reconciliation option enables you to reconcile the Bank Ledger from the date provided here onwards. So, mention either the starting date of fiscal year or starting date in the Bank Statement whichever is earlier.
  5. Set Yes for Set/Alter Bank Details option to configure advanced banking features like business cheque printing, maintaining cheque or check book register, and bank account details.
  6. And accept both the Bank Details screen; if advanced banking features are configured; and Ledger Creation screen.

This is how we can create a Ledger in tally erp software.After that we can easily do the business transaction management using the bank ledger.

History about Indian Rupee Symbol or Sign


The Indian Currency Code (IND) got its new Sign (₹) in the Global Economy. Now the Indian Rupee has its unique Symbol like other major global currencies does, for instance US Dollar($). And The New Symbol for Indian Rupee presented in public on 15 July 2010 by the Indian Government. It can be used by all the best Financial Institutions, Business Loan Institutes, Currency Traders, and even that is being printed in the trading Currency, Utility Bonds, and Share Trading. Prior to that Rs, Re or an appropriate abbreviation of any Indian Local Languages were broadly used. It is a blend of Devanagari letter "र" (Ra) and Roman letter "R", which gives India a symbol of confidence and recognition in the International Money Market.

Upon the symbol's adoption in July 2010, the Indian government said it would try to adopt the sign within 6 months in the country and globally within 18 to 24 months.

How the Indian Rupee Symbol was selected

A Graduate in Architecture and student of Visual Communication at the Industrial Design Center, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mr. D Udaya Kumar designed the Indian Rupee Symbol and it was announced in public on 15 July, 2010.
  1. On 5 March 2009, the Indian Government conducted an Open Competition for the Indian Rupee Sign.
  2. The then Finance Minister, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, during the Union Budget at that time said that the proposed Sign should reflect and capture the Indian ethos and culture.
  3. For this Open Competition 3,331 people were responded, among them the following were short listed.
    1. Nondita Correa-Mehrotra
    2. Hitesh Padmashali
    3. Shibin KK
    4. Shahrukh J Irani
    5. and D Udaya Kumar
  4. On 24 June 2010 one of them was to be selected at the Union Council of Ministers, But it was differed on 15 July, 2010 due to the Finance Minister request, and they choose the symbol created by D Udaya Kumar.

How does Indian Rupee Symbol Resembles

The Indian Currency Symbol resembles both the Devanagari letter "र" (Ra) and Roman letter "R" without its vertical bar. The Parallel lines at the top alludes to the National Flag of India and depicts an Equality Sign of the Mathematics that symbolizes the nation's desire to reduce economic disparity.

Criticism over the Indian Rupee Sign

It was challenged in the Delhi High Court by petitioner Rakesh Kumar, one of the participants in the Open Competition, described the process as "Full of Discrepancies" and "Flawed", and named the Finance Ministry and the Chairperson of Indian Rupee Symbol Selection Committee as respondents. But on 26 November 2010, the Delhi High Court dismissed the writ petition, stating there was no justifiable ground for the stated allegations.
Astrologers claimed that the symbol was adopted on an inauspicious day i.e. 15 July, as well the double lines resembles "a slitting the throat" of the currency.

Indian Rupee Sign supports Computer Applications

The Ubuntu Operating System, which is the first one to support the Indian Rupee Sign in the Computers. And the API has also been developed to support the Web Applications as well.
  1. On 10 August 2010, the Unicode Technical Committee accepted the proposed code position U+20B9 Indian rupee sign (HTML: ₹ graphic symbol). The character has been encoded in the Unicode 6.0, and named distinctly from the existing character U+20A8? rupee sign (HTML: ₨), which will continue to be available as the generic rupee sign.
  2. Since 10.10 version in Ubuntu Operating System to support Indian Rupee symbol, by default. It has been added in Fedora 15, codenamed as Lovelock.
  3. 18 May 2011, Microsoft released an update KB2496898 to Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Operating Systems to include support for this new symbol. This support includes font support, locale changes, and keyboard support. With the Windows update, it is now possible to use ALT code text enter to obtain the Indian Rupee Symbol - ALT 8377.
